Pilipinas Got Talent's Second Round

The judges have made their choices.

Last Saturday and Sunday, Pilipinas Got Talent has already announced the top 36 contestants who will advance to the semi-finals.

I thought that those who qualified for in the nationwide audition will perform again in front of the judges, just like in American Idol, before the judges will have to make their final choice. But the "judges' cull" was base solely on the auditions. In short, they just limited the number of contestants by comparing their talents (and looks) to get the best among them.

Next week, the 36 semi-finalist will start performing live and series of eliminations will soon follow. By this time, it's hard to tell who's going to take home the 2 million jackpot and be the first ever Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Champion.

Many of the those who qualified in the nationwide auditions have already become internet celebrities. Some even have their fan base already.

We shall expect more excitement as the top 36 will have to bring their talents to the next level. I am excited.
